Tien Tran is Vietnamese-American comedian, actor, and writer. She starred as “Ellen” in How I Met Your Father (Hulu) and “Lucy” in Mr. Throwback (Peacock). Recently named Time Out’s Comics to Watch 2025, her stand-up has been featured on Comedy Central's Taking the Stage and at the Just for Laughs Festival in Montreal as part of the 2019 New Faces of Comedy showcase. She’s written for Work in Progress (Showtime) and the Emmy-nominated Book of Queer (Discovery+). She currently co-hosts Jockular, the only comedy podcast about all things queer, trans, and women-forward in the world of sports. She’s an alum of The Second City Mainstage and e.t.c.
