Tien Tran, a Vietnamese-American standup comedian, performs a comedy set.

Tien Tran is a Vietnamese-American comedian, actor, and writer. She starred as “Ellen” in How I Met Your Father (Hulu) and “Lucy” in Mr. Throwback (Peacock). Named Time Out’s Comics to Watch 2025, her stand-up has been featured on Comedy Central's Taking the Stage, the Just for Laughs Festival in Montreal as part of the 2019 New Faces of Comedy, the Netflix is a Joke Festival, and The SF Sketchfest Dozen. She’s written for Work in Progress (Showtime) and the Emmy-nominated Book of Queer (Discovery+). She was also a co-host of Jockular, the only comedy podcast about all things queer, trans, and women-forward in the world of sports. She’s an alum of The Second City Mainstage and e.t.c.
